About My Hobby Or Recreational Activity
I started this hobby when I was 15 or 16 years old. I would practicing drawing by looking at pictures of famous cartoon characters and drawing what I saw. Later on a friend gave me a book called "Everything You Wanted To Know About Cartooning But Were Afraid To Draw" by Christopher Hart. This book taught me how to draw my own cartoon characters. Since then I have been drawing my own cartoon characters. Later on I got in to graphic design and now I draw my own cartoon characters on my computer.

What Are Some Of The Greatest Things You Have Accomplished On This Hobby Or Recreational Activity?
I have learned to design my own short 5 second animated cartoons. Years ago I purchased a computer programme called "Disney Animation Studio". I got to do cell animation on the computer and then add background, colour and sound effects. It wasn't a fancy program, but it taught me the basics of animation.

What Materials do I Need And How Do I Get Started On This Hobby/Recreational Activity?
In order to hand draw your own cartoon characters, you will need a sketch pad, sharpened pencil, an eraser and some imagination. Drawing or doodling your ideas on to paper. When I'm satisfied with the drawing I colour in the picture with pencil crayons. You can also use paints, markers or crayons.

Do You Have Any Tips Or Tricks On How To Succeed At This Hobby/Recreational Activity?
They say that an artist doesn't erase his/her drawing mistakes, but instead he/she adds the mistakes into the drawing. Well I disagree I prefer to erase something in a picture I don't like. It is entirely up to you.
