Tips of the Day |
- To create the lettering for the title "MUSEUM", I used Microsoft Picture IT! to add a clear and very large lettering on each photo. Then I printed the photos and cut out the lettering.
- In addition to gluing down the ribbons in the Big E layout, I used eyelets or brads to hold ribbons in place.

Earlier this year, I attended the "Doors Open" event in Toronto. I got to tour 3 several museums plus two other place for free when the event was held back in May 2008. Since then I have become interested in touring other historical museums in Toronto. I wanted to add photos of all the museums I got to tour so I did a two page layout. If you can't read the titles, here is a list of the museums from top left to bottom right. 1)Mackenzie House; 2) Toronto's First Post Office; 3) Scadding Cabin; 4) Campbell House; 5) Montgomery's Inn; 6) Spadina House; 7) The Tollkeeper's Cottage; 8) Gibson House; 9) Todmorden Mills; 10) Scarborough Historical Museum

I bought some packs of random scrapbook paper at an art supply store. The sheet that I used was I think a "Basic Gray" product and was intended to be used as a background sheet about baby girls. Since the sheet was covered with cartoon elephants, I decided to do a scrapbook page about two elephants at the Toronto Zoo which I took snapshots of 4 years ago. The sign "A Great Big Hello", was card from a sheet of scrapbook paper and was originally made into a card. I got to hand make a bunch of cards a few weeks ago at a cardmaking class at my favorite scrapbook store. I removed the back cover for this project.
