Ooops!

Nosy

  • The snapshot of the hippo was taking at the Toronto Zoo about 5 years ago. I used 85% scraps to make this for a contest. To create the tag with the stamps, I ripped a design that was original mounted to the tag. Then I took a scrap piece of dollar store scrapbook paper which is flooded with stamps and cut out a few of the stamps. They are mounted on to a scrap piece of card stock and then cut to shape again and mounted with foam tape. The chipboard letter "N" was covered up with a scrap piece of paper.

Cooter's Place

  • Cooter's Place is a museum in Tennessee dedicated to the tv show "The Dukes of Hazzard". It was founded by Ben Jones who played the role of Cooter the mechanic. I didn't get to go there but my parents did. I have been a fan of the show since I was a kid.

Tips of the Day
  • Keep a complete alphabet set of chipboard letters so that you can use them as tracing stencils. This was how I created the title "Cooter's Place".
