About Postcrossing
|
|
Postcrossing is a free web site that allows people to exchange postcards with other people around the world. It is free to sign up. When you sign up, you submit your name and address. (Only Postcrossing members will see this info.) Next you create a profile telling about yourself. You can mention your job, hobbies, or what kind of postcards you like to collect. After creating the profile, you click on "Send a postcard". This is the only time when you get to see a member's name and address in addition to his or her profile. The web site will also give you postcard ID which will look something like this. CA-90210 Finally, buy a postcard from your local store or post office you would like to send to the person. Write a message on the postcard. DON'T forget to write the postcard ID on the postcard. Next mail out the postcard and when the person receives it, he or she will register the postcard ID on the web site. You will receive a message that the person has received your postcard and then you sit back and wait to receive a postcard from someone else. I repeat. The web site is free. Your only cost to you is buying postcards and stamps at your local store or post office. Click on the image below to join.
